9″ Surface Box

The 9 inch (235mm) square surface box designed for use in a variety of applications such as boundary boxes water and gas utilities, or where larger surface boxes are required. This is a robust unit having a clipped lid, which may be hinged back through 180º to prevent hinge breakage as found in some designs.

The lid can be badged with WATER, GAS or CATV as standard, or alternative designations can be added for a nominal charge.

This unit can be supplied as a plain surface box to be utilised with our 9” location sleeve, or with a built-in 75mm long adaptor for utilisation with a standard 200mm guard pipe.

For WATER applications the box may also be supplied with a pair of ‘lip seals’, which will make this a watertight unit to W.I.S specification.

A metal detector plate may also be added.

The unit is rated to 5 tonnes loading when tested to EN124 and BS 5834

Manufactured from recycled polypropylene it will withstand hot rolled asphalt.
